Man, don’t you just hate it when you drop your load prematurely?

Sucks when you lose your hummer at the wrong time .

Or so I’ve heard.

If a Humvee falls in my back yard, do I get to keep it?

If it lands in your kitchen... you might have a chance.

The problem with finders-keepers is that in this particular situation the people who lost it have a particular set of skills.

How’s this for the epic quote from the story:

“ A load of some kind was released early and we’re looking into how it happened”

Wait... what were we talking about again, military spokesman person?

“In related news, sales of Plan B are up 200%”......

I wonder if “finders-keepers” applies...

That was my thought to when I read the title. But seriously, what are the laws about trespassing to retrieve property?

The gear head version of this, at least for anyone who hasn’t spent lots of time driving one.

D epending on if it was under a ‘chute or not, you may not have a choice. Four tons or so of H umvee impacting the ground at terminal velocity is going to make a bit of a crater.

poss ession is 9/10 of the law...... be fun to make up a few phony bill of sales, to make them jump through a few hoops to “prove” it is in fact thei rs.

might be fun to get out the sawzall, and cut it up for scrap, charge them for disposal of their trash.......

what is the term that cities use? adverse possession? charge storage and everything(before charging all the disposal stuffs) like the tow yards do......

What a jackass. Basically like trashing 3 Ferraris on the taxpayers’ dime.

If he wants to destroy Hummers, they should have sent him solo into Fallujah as an option vs the court martial.

That didn’ t really seem to look much like a Humvee under that cover, on the back of the truck.
